RYKYU PIRAS is producing T-shirts, Shima-Saba Tattoo (carve designs on beach sandals), bags, accessories, sundries, jeans, stationary goods with artists of broad genres, Bingata artisans, photographers, potter, painter, illustrators, jeans artisan, metal accessory artisan, chirographer, leather craft artisan, pinstriper.

Each and every artists have the pride, their ruling passion and fascination. Once you become witness of their handwork, you must fall under the spells.
We RYUKYU PIRAS make products for daily use with a thought that we want to deliver those artists’ spells by putting designs on mainly T-shirts, as canvas, with the brand concept “We always wanna be surrounded by Okinawa.”

We put “Yui ma-ru” thought into the word “Collaboration”, one of the main key words of RYUKYU PIRAS. The artists and RYUKYU PIRAS are sharing joy and motive force to promote OKINAWA to all over the world through producing items with much deep communication each other.

The logo was designed by MIREI who is one of the collaborated artists.

Making T-shirts design is not their main job, however, the artists give delightful comments to our collaboration as “the chance to try new things”, “it’s very athrill work because collaboration has possibility to be born totally unthinkable new design”, “sometimes it bothers me because T-shirts design is different genre of mine but challenging is very exciting”, “collaboration with RYUKYU PIRAS broad my range as an artist”.

Of course, for RYUKYU PIRAS staff, there is sense of tension in collaboration with those artists who have strong personality as artists, also difficulty due to different genre of collaboration.
All the more, it is rewarding work for us.
It is really happy when customers bring the items home that we finish by difficult birth collaboration.
